Membership Categories and Dues
Gold Membership, $500. All attorneys who are in good standing in the State Bar of Georgia are eligible for membership. Your support is appreciated and you will be recognized in all DBA newsletter editions.
Active Membership, $225. All attorneys who are in good standing in the State Bar of Georgia are eligible for membership.
Associate Members, $180. Any person in the following categories is eligible to be an associate member:
Any person other than a member of the State Bar of Georgia who is duly admitted to practice law and is in good standing in any state, territory or possession of the United States.
Any former active member of the Association who no longer maintains an office for the practice of law, and is a member in good standing of the State Bar of Georgia.
Any member of the State Bar of Georgia who has elected to become inactive with the State Bar of Georgia.
Affiliate Members, $180. Any person in the following categories is eligible to be an affiliate member:
Any person who is employed as a Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary, or Paralegal, and who is not eligible for active membership.
Any person enrolled in his or her second year of law school.
Student Member, $0. Any law student or any law school graduate awaiting admission to the Bar provided such person has not exceeded his or her second anniversary of graduation. There are no annual dues. Luncheon attendance is a $10 fee.
