Who Is Eligible

Membership Categories and Dues

Active Membership: Any lawyer licensed to practice law in the State of Georgia and who is currently in good standing with State Bar of Georgia

• Lawyers licensed to practice three years or less: $150

• Lawyers licensed to practice more than three years: $180

Associate Members can be:
• Any person other than a member of the State Bar of Georgia who is duly admitted to practice law and is in good standing in any state, territory or possession of the United States

• Any former active member of the Association who no longer maintains an office for the practice of law, and is a member in good standing of the State Bar of Georgia; Any member of the State Bar of Georgia who has elected to become inactive with the State Bar of Georgia

• Paralegals and any other non-lawyer who is a part of the legal community

• Annual dues: $135

Student Members can be:
• All law students or any law school graduate awaiting admission to the Bar, provided such person has not exceeded his or her second anniversary of graduation. There are no annual dues. Luncheon attendance is a $10 fee.
